TALENT SERVICES:
MTC Workshops: Miami Talento Casting, Inc. offers workshops
to further enhance your casting ability and techniques. Workshops are offering in English or Spanish. We encourage talent to participate in our workshops as well as workshops offered
by other legitimate casting directors and acting coaches in the area.

Audition Video Taping: At times, your agent or manager may have a request from a client/casting director in NY, LA, etc. to put you on video and read for a movie role, soap opera, TV series, breakdown services, etc. Here at Miami Talento Casting, Inc., George Ortiz will video tape, direct you & edit your scene to insure that you send your best audition. We are able to then send your audition video to the client in thier requested format (posted on the web, Quicktime, miniDV or DVD, etc). George has put various performers on video for various movies, TV series & soaps (Army Wives, One Tree Hill, One Life To Live). English or Spanish language.
Things to know before you come in to be video taped:
- Video taping is by appointment only.
- You must be prepared with your sides memorized or at least very familiar with what you are auditioning for. Keep in mind that, this is still an audition & not an acting class. George will take time with you to rehearse and direct you, but you must be prepared.
- Once you have secured an appointment with us, email us a copy of your sides, with headshot & resume the day before or the morning of your appointment.
- The minimum appointment is 1-hour from start to finish. This means that during this hour, you have 30 minutes to rehearse & be video taped with George's directions. The balance of that hour is for George to edit & prepare your video audition into the video format requested by the client. We will take into consideration how many lines/pages of dialogue or roles you need to read for. This will be discussed once you call for an appointment. So, don't panic :)
- Please keep in mind that even though you have an appointment, this is still an audition, not an acting class and time is valuable and limited.
- Fee for this service is currently $40/hr including posting. (1hr minimum). Please note that we do not charge talent when they come on a regular casting call for jobs that we are casting.

Thank you. We appreciate your cooperation

Dear Talent:
We at Miami Talento Casting, Inc, try our best to provide you and your agent
with the best information and direction possible to assist you in having the
best audition possible. Casting directors have a great deal of pressure due
to deadlines and other responsibilities that are part of casting the right talent
for the right job. It is your job as a performer to be professional and come
prepared to audition. We pride ourselves in our professionalism and expect
you to do the same.
Here are a few pointers for you to follow:
1. Be On Time! Be Prepared!
2. Bring at least 2 headshots and/or comps with resumes to each audition.
3. When you arrive, sign-in.
4. Fully complete the “Casting Information/Size sheet” provided.
5. Before you ask any questions, look around for any postings (on shoot/callback
dates, conflicts, storyboards, etc.) This may answer many questions. If you
still need questions answered, you may politely ask the casting assistant behind
our front desk. Please keep in mind that casting assistants and receptionists
are also under pressure and should be treated with the same respect and professionalism
as the casting director.
6. Please do not call us for directions! Call your agent or go to our web site.
7. Remember: This is a job interview. Professionalism is imperative! How you
conduct yourself in an audition may reflect how you conduct yourself on location.
8. Smile & never doubt yourself!
