George Ortiz is the president of MTC/Miami Talento Casting, Inc. George moved from New York to Miami in the late-70's. George’s experience dates back to the early 1980’s when he began his work in theater and on-camera acting. George then progressively went behind the camera taking on a wide range of duties and working in various commercial productions. Following his calling and interest in casting, he specialized in talent coordinating and casting. After 10 years in the industry directing casting sessions for various clients, he created and established MTC/Miami Talento Casting, Inc. in 1999.

George’s professional background also branches out in marketing in both the corporate and non-profit world. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Marketing/Advertising from The University of Miami, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University. Both his acting experience as well as his corporate background, allow George to view his projects from both a "creative" and a "business" perspective. In addition, his background in education has allowed him to experience first hand, working in a bilingual teaching environment with children as well as young adults. This experience allows him to effectively communicate fluently in both the English and Spanish language with talent of all ages in an instructive, to the point and friendly manner.

George's success as a casting director is a direct result of his professionalism and ability to direct, communicate and encourage talent, while meeting his clients’ requests. His style and method of communicating with people, enhances the performer's confidence and audition potential.
